I feel like God will not answer my questions about Christianity
When you feel like God will not answer your questions about Christianity, you are wrong. This feeling is a lie. The father of all lies is at work trying to sabotage your honest desires to know more about the kingdom of God. Resist this feeling, and it will run away from you. IJN.
In the beginning, God created man in the Garden of Eden, where Adam could dwell constantly in the presence of God. In a nutshell, this is the essence of Christianity. Christianity is the kingdom of God, where his children dwell everlastingly with Him. Why then would God not want you to know Him more?
It is true that in today’s world, we have crowded out God’s voice because we are too busy listening to the voices of celebrities, friends and families, bosses, and our own voices. 1 Corinthians 14:33 says, “For God is not a God of confusion but of peace.” There are too many forms of Christianity out there, with so many laws and confusing doctrines, but the highest form of Christianity is to love God with all your might, and with all your heart, and with all your strength because that is the kingdom of God. A suggestion would be to find peaceful environments to encounter God because it is difficult to find God inside the storms of life.
The prophet Isaiah said, “Truly, you are a God who hides himself, O God of Israel.” God hides Himself from people that show no desire to draw near to Him. God wants you to know about Him. Jeremiah 33:3 says, “Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known”
Sometimes our questions are God sent, inspired by the Holy Spirit. Consider your questions to be the prelude to the answers God has for you. This is the age of the Holy Spirit. Now is the time for the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with conviction to do God’s will, to counsel us, to teach us how to pray, to comfort us. My testimony of coming into the kingdom of God started when I had numerous questions about Christianity, and through the help of Alpha, a program that helps people answer their questions about Christianity, I became fully submerged in the teachings of Christ. If you feel led by the Spirit, don’t dismiss the feeling because that is the working of God. Acts 1:8 says that “you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witness in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and the end of the earth”
Jesus spent his time answering questions from Jews and gentiles during his lifetime. He answered questions about divorce, repentance, baptism, death, and so on. God uses people (who are spirit led), His creation (created by God the father), and His Word (Jesus Christ) to deliver messages in our world today. The Holy Trinity of God continues to work in unison to establish the kingdom of God today. Get this: As we are led by the Spirit, Jesus in his word mandates His children to spread the Gospel (good news) to the whole creation of God the father. Even as you are a creation of God the father, I pray you receive the spirit filled message of Jesus with all your heart. Amen.
